greetings, moonsailors.

if you dont know me, you soon will. after a short sabbatical from all things nwn i will be building again with nwn2 and i look forward to joining you all in bringing the moonsea to life.

i was on the whitehorn team with baalster and thangorn and learned an awful lot from that project.

my area of expertise is building - aesthetics mainly rather than technical stuff. and im bloody good.

will also be providing background and plot writing, but im a very inexperienced dm so will probably mainly be behind the scenes in terms of live involvment.

i also have very little knowledge and experience of the moonsea area outside of what i learned for whitehorn, so you folks are probably going to have to help me out here and there.

Hey dudes. I expect the moonsea to be da shit since it is the beefiest area that I know. The Sword Coast is also kind of nice but not nearly as beefy.

Good luck to you on building the Moonsea once NWN 2 is released. If I can ever retain a internet connection where I have computer good enough to run NWN 2, I'll make sure to send you all PMs that make no sense and be angry when you won't give my PC XP for farming well done.

Hey folks!

If you don't mind I'd like to peek in every now and then to keep an eye on how things are developing and possibly help coordinate any sort of cross-border plots with our friendly Cold Lands crew. I hear your Zhents are keen to be mining in the Western Galenas so maybe someday down the line we throw a few ideas together.

Greetings everyone.

Just wanted to say hello as I'm looking forward to checking out the server as a player for NWN2.

I've been getting increasingly interested in the Zhentarim recently. As such I was wondering if any of you experts could enlighten me as to some informative / interesting reading material concerning the Black Network.

Welcome to the ALFA 06 - The Moonsea forums.

There are a huge amount of sources on the Zhentarim.

Starting with Lords of Darkness 3e would be advisable. It has a basic layout of what the Zhentarim is about, and who wear the big hats.

Then there are the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting 3e, Mysteries of the Moonsea 3e, The Moonsea 2e, Ruins of Zhentil Keep 2e, and Villains Lorebook 2e. If you red all them, I'm sure you'll have a very good understanding of the Zhentarim.

All the 2nd edition manuals mentioned should be available from the WotC site free of charge, now that they are "obsolete". Be warned though that if you plan to pick up those 3rd edition sourcebooks, they don't run cheap...

Hello all.

I am Ido Seter from Israel, age 21 years old though I have the soul of an elf so I might be older hehe. Been part of the Daggerford/Haze/Penitence community for over 3 years and was also part of the Haze2 project dev team.

My most enjyoable types of characters tends to be military leaders, Clerics and of course bards. Good at writing and the understanding of the elven race.

What do I seek in Moonsea? I hope that Moonsea will rise up to the challenge as the best hardcore RP server about NWN2. I also wish to see players taking up the helm like I have seen in Haze and of course allow them to grow as racial groups!

Hello to all evildoers here,
I just wanted to introduce myself as a newbie should. As some you may have noticed I'm not as affluent in the DND realms and termanology as most here I've met and gamed with. For this I am sorry, but I am reading up on as much as I can, I happen to have a brother who has a veritable wealth of knowledge and reading material on the subject. I would also like to say that I'm an avid fan of horror/thriller material so hopefully once I know more about moonsea as a whole i can add further input of what I'd like to see.
I'm talented in writing and art (pen and ink) so if I can be of any help to the community forum just let me know. I'm self employed as an ornamental and architectural ironworker; includes blacksmithing, machining, welding. Anything made out of steel for beautification of residential and commercial properties i've probably done it. What i'm trying to say in a round about way is that sometimes I'm totally swamped with work, but I also get a fair amount of free time on my hands which would allow me to help out in any non technical ways. ( other than drawing floor plans or blueprints) Confused

Well nobody wants to read a novel here so i'll just quit now.

your talents would seem to come in mighty handy for this project. One thing we really need is artistic types who can conceptualise things like character portraits and stuff for us. Also we are always looking for writers to help out on the NPC and story sides of things.

in short, its good to have you on the team.
