If enough answers flow from this poll, the proposal could be rediscussed and edited.
I'm really curious about this one people!

Also, keep in mind to think practical too. For example, if you dislike the idea of having the next area being far away from the core, then refrain from picking it.

Well, seeing as how it is Fzouls new jewel within his network, I still have to go with Mulmaster.

I mean, that city was one of the bigger, if not the biggest, enemies of the Keep and the Network for soo long, and is now fully under the control of the High Tyrannar, thanks to the blade of an assassin, an assassin that was the twin brother of his victim!

For so long, the Moonsea was literally divided in half by the hatred these two cities and their High Priests of The Black Hand had for one another, and now, they have finally been brought together by the one Bane himself chose as his voice on Faerun!

With the moonsea consolidated as it is, I've often wondered just what the Dark Lord might do with so much power now acting in unison with one another, rather than trying to crush each other.

Really now, who would stand against the combined naval might of both Zhentil Keep, and Mulmaster? Twisted Evil

I'm keen for Yulash or Phlan and their environs next up, just because it provides a variety of environments to play and DM in.. going with the big cities first while good for intrigues may not provide enough diversity in the short-term for our player and DM base.

Fully agreed.

Frankly, my vote in these polls will be for Phlan until it is built Very Happy That said, I think the current order of hubs is just fine and we should keep it as it is.

Mulmaster, this one's easy

intrigue, power, Iron Fang Keep, and other than fzoul IMO the most powerful NPC's reside here

(not to mention a neat cross server canon plot with the Cold Lands Wink )

Mulmaster is without debate a necessary and integral element of the Moonsea, but it would also be a very large project and not necessarily appropriate as the first of the expansions.

With Zhentil keep built, we will already have a strong element of intrigue and political and religious whathaveyou in a semi urban atmosphere. Phlan would offer a far more flexible and classical style of play that would attract players.

There has been, over the decades, a great deal of canon made available to use for the reproduction of one of the Forgotten Realms most re-visited dungeon crawl type adventures which would be a considerable boon to us builders.

My vote is on Phlan. Smile

I actually voted for Melvaunt, but would do with Phlan.

Reason being is I'd like to see how well the ruined waste lands of Thar can be built, it may sound easy, but often easy things are difficult when looked at in detail or trying to create an empty, windswept, broken moor with just the right feeling of hopelessness and despair.

Secondly, with all the talk about walkmeshes causing problems, it would be easier to first build something flat with little or no trees, thus minimizing the walkmesh structure for a good testing base for exterior areas.

Because of the high interest in Phlan, I made it Hub2, just after Y?lash.
Mulmaster is also a top favorite, but we need to consider the geographical distance from the rest of the first hubs.
