Progress?

It might just be me but it feels a while since I've heard anything about the progress of the mod. It feels like it has all just grinded to a halt. The forum has not seen much activity either. It might be the christmas holidays comming up, or any other holidays for that matter. So how's about a small report on what is happening?

Yes, rest assured that while we may seem quiet on the surface, the Moonsea team is busy at work behind the scenes.

While we wait on a Base Module from the ALFA team of the same name, we have been collecting enough lore on the mysterious Moonsea region to put both Volo and Elminster to shame! We've also been compiling said lore into a myriad of static quest ideas and general DM-run server plots that will have you players deeply entrenched in the plots and secrets of one of the most evil cities in all Faerûn.

We've also been refining our knowledge of the NWN2 Toolset and have already made test areas for Zhentil Keep that we hope to transfer over once the Base Mod is released.

While it may seem like we are keeping quiet at times or that there are long pauses between reports, please keep in mind that this is a volunteer effort on the part of the Moonsea team and we can only go as quickly as RL allows. We are still fully committed to making 06 - The Moonsea and, Bane as our witness, it will be the envy of ALFA!

The biggest issue at the moment is getting the base mod to build upon, and chaining Grey Pilgrim down to churn out area after area.

I work in retail and it is the busy sale period for me plus I have to squeeze family and friends time in there too. I wont be doing too much in earnest until the new year.

we eagerly await the base mod so we can really kick off the building at any rate.
